In southern Spain, this is a two-day event with the focus being on developing relationships across market sectors with likeminded business folks. The sun, warmth and standard of golf mean everyone has a good time regardless of the scorecard.
An annual event to raise funds for local companies. In the past monies have been raised for the University of St Andrews Students Rectors Fund. This event is usually held on Open venues in the UK.
An annual private golf tournament which is held over two days in early April. The event starts with a champagne reception, dinner and a notable after dinner speaker followed by 'The Lucky Club' auction*. In years gone by guest speakers/auctioneers have been Paul Boardman, Rory Bremner, Dougie Donnelly, Fred MacAulay.
* 'The Lucky Club' auction raises money for those in St Andrews and since 2012 we have supported the Rectors Fund at the University of St Andrews. Valderrama is one of the top 10 golf courses in Europe and the venue of 1997 Ryder Cup, being located in southern Spain guarantees perfect playing and relaxing conditions. The course was designed in 1974 by Robert Trent Jones, Sr, one of the great golf course architects, and was originally known as Sotogrande New.
